Make room for their story
Choose a few questions together. Edit the prompts, take notes in their words, and leave anything they would rather skip.
A first name, initials or relationship is enough.
Use the date you know, or say approximate / unknown.
For example: conversation, letter or a recording made with permission.
Record who may see this, anything to leave out, and whether they want to review it first. A blank field does not mean permission.

4 of 12 questionsEvery question is editable. Short notes are enough; distinguish a remembered detail from a fact still to check.

How to use it
- Ask whether the person wants to tell a story and whether you may take notes. Agree who may read them.
- Change the prompts to suit the conversation. A short conversation about one place or memory is enough.
- Write the person's own words where you can. Separate things you know from approximate dates and details to check.
- Read back the notes together. Save an editable file for later or print the agreed version; keep private notes somewhere safe.
Keep the connection going
With the storyteller's agreement, choose one written story to share in Kinello's Story and select its audience. A photo can give relatives a place to start a conversation. The workbook stays separate from the app; its saved file reopens here.
